FileMaker Data Migration Tool

WARNING! This page is very much a work in progress and is not 100% accurate. There was a lot of new information released at FileMaker DevCon 2018 that has not yet been incorporated into the PDF. There are also some details to clarify...and that will take time. In the meantime, please treat this page as a work in progress that will become more complete and accurate over time.

The Data Migration Tool (DMT) is a command line tool that creates a new FileMaker file from 2 input files that contain data and structure.

The 2 main use cases are:

• Deploying new code
• Reverting damaged files
